My name is Amy, and my journey through life has been marked by profound personal experiences and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

At the age of 19, I faced a devastating loss when I suddenly lost my brother while I was studying product design and metalsmithing at the Cleveland Institute of Art. During my senior thesis project, I found a way to channel my grief into something positive. I created commemorative keepsakes for families who had lost loved ones. It was a deeply moving experience for me and offered solace to those going through their own grief. This endeavor inspired me to start my own business creating personalized keepsakes for people who had lost loved ones. However, after a few years, I faced physical ailments that made it challenging to continue this work.

In addition to my creative pursuits, I also taught classes at the Cleveland Institute of Art for both adults and children, passing on my passion and knowledge to the next generation of artists.

Throughout my life, I've had a strong connection with my grandmother and uncle and provided caregiving support while they were in long-term care facilities. I've always believed in the importance of family and offering support in times of need.

Tragedy struck again when, at the age of 29, I suddenly lost my father to a massive heart attack. This experience reinforced my commitment to my family and my determination to make a positive impact on the lives of those I care about.

In 2017, I ventured into real estate, influenced by my husband's family, who have been realtors for over 30 years. I was searching for my niche and found it when I discovered the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation. I earned this designation in 2022, deepening my understanding of the unique needs and challenges that seniors face in the housing market.

Motivated by my desire to connect with seniors on a deeper level and support their wish to age in place, I founded "Amy's Answers for Seniors and Caregivers." Through this platform, I provide valuable services, including educational seminars, product reviews, insightful interviews, and practical tips for seniors and their caregivers. My mission is to empower seniors and their families with knowledge and resources, enabling them to make informed decisions and lead fulfilling lives as they age.

In memory of my brother and father, and in honor of my enduring love for my grandma and uncle, my journey through life has been marked by heartbreak, resilience, creativity, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to making a difference. I stand as an inspiration to all, proving that even in the face of adversity, one can transform challenges into opportunities for growth and service to others.
